Grants
The Baptist Healing Trust supports non-profits, through grant making, that provide holistic and compassionate healthcare to the most vulnerable in Middle Tennessee.
The Trust has two main objectives through its grant-making: 1. to increase the access of underserved populations to quality healthcare
2. to sustain and enhance the success of the non-profit organizations it funds by offering support to organizations to sustain cultures centered on compassionate care.
Grant Programs

In 2010, preference will be given to currently operating programs that demonstrate strong community need and ongoing sustainability as well as new programs or expansions where high community need has been documented.
Grant Workshops
The Baptist Healing Trust now requires that one representative from each applicant agency attend a technical assistance workshop prior to submitting a full proposal to the Trust for a Transom, Impacting Education or Partnership Grant.
Even if a representative has attended previous workshops, someone must attend to be eligible to submit a full proposal for this cycle.
The Trust offers both Technical Assistance Training as well as an Introductory Workshop for those who are new to the Baptist Healing Trust.
Grant Recipients
The Trust has partnered with over 160 Middle Tennessee non-profits that provide compassionate healthcare services to our community's most underserved. The Trust currently awards just over 100 grants per year. Since the Trust's inception in 2002, over 48 million dollars of grants have been made in the Middle Tennessee community.
